The Tin Pan - Central Park, New York - Sunday morning
Nothing added.
Nothing subtracted.
The Tin Pans are:
Jesse Selengut - Song and Trumpet
Jesse is the Tin Pan band leader and has been playing professionally in New York since the early 1990's. He received his Master's Degree in Jazz Performance from New York University in 1992. Founder of The Williamsburg Jazz Festival which is now in its 5th year. Started playing the trumpet as a boy.
Jesse started The Tin Pan Blues Band just about two years ago. He had been playing early American music for a few years before and even created his own genre called Jazz Noir. Ultimately, the truth and simplicity of early American music moved him to perform mainly in the Tin Pan style. His experience is that enjoyment of this kind of music transcends race, age, cultural upbringing, language, financial background etc.
